House Targaryen Sigil
House Targaryen of King's Landing is one of the Great Houses in the mod. It was at one point in time the ruling faction of The Crownlands and overruling faction of Westeros until Robert's Rebellion, when the Targaryens were exiled and House Baratheon became the rulers of Westeros. Regardless, the faction is still joinable, although one must go across the narrow sea to Essos to encounter the faction.

House Targaryen dates it's history back to before the Doom of Valyria, House Targaryen was a noble house in Valyria in Essos., although it was not the most powerful house in Valyria. Daenys 'the Dreamer' Targaryen dreamed of the Doom twelve years before it occured, which made the Targaryens flee Valyria and settle on Dragonstone in Westeros.
Aegon I Targaryen then went on a conquest to conquer Westeros and unite it under his banner. He was sucsessfull, although Dorne was not united under his banner during his inital conquest.
After the death of Aegon there were seventeen Targaryen Kings total that reigned after him. The reign of House Targaryen ended, however during the reign of Aerys II "The Mad King" Targaryen in the late second century. During his reign his son, Rhaegar Targaryen ran off with Lyanna Stark, which in the end caused Robert's Rebellion to occur and it's result removed the Targaryens from power and House Baratheon became the new rulers.
After Robert's Rebellion, the remaining Targaryen Loyalists fled across the Narrow Sea to Essos. which explains the reasoning as to why the Targaryen Loyalists in the mod spawn in Essos.
